In 2003 a really close family member suffered a stroke in our house the day after she got back from a 3 month long trip. For about 5 months I became her main caregiver. At that time my son just turned one and my husband was traveling a lot for work.  Family members came to help during the weekends but all that stress took a toll on me. During that difficult time in my life I found the healing power of Yoga. After that very first class I felt so much more than the relief of my physical pain due to stress, I found inner peace, strength and the confidence that I thought I had lost. Within 6 months I was finishing my first teacher training and participating in several workshops ever since.
